AndTradition is een Deens merk dat staat voor functionaliteit, tijdloos design, techniek en vorm. Ze streven ernaar om deze waarden in ieder product terug te laten komen. Naast verlichting maken ze ook meubels zoals tafels en krukken. In deze blog zet ik een spotlight op de verlichting. Ieder uniek en een op zichzelf staand kunstwerk. Ik vind de vormen van de spinning lights prachtig ( eerste foto) net een drup die langzaam naar beneden komt.Ik heb op de website van AndTradition ook wat mooie schetsen gevonden van de Flowerpot lamp en de Milk bottle. Prachtig om de verschillende stappen te zien, schetsen, handwerk en het resultaat.

Besides light furniture they also design tables and stools. In this blog i put a spotlight on the lighting. Each piece is unique and a separate work of art. I like the shapes of the spinning lights ( first photo), just like a drop it slowly coming down.On the website of AndTradition i also found some nice sketches of the Flowerpotlamp and the Milk Bottle. Amazing to see the process from sketching to handcrafting till the end result.
